About the Flyers

Paul Williams, a 6-3 soph, is averaging 7.2 points and has hit several clutch 3-pointers this season. … Marcus Johnson, a preseason second-team All-Atlantic 10 pick, is shooting only 33.3 percent from the field and has made just 2-of-18 3s. … The point-guard tandem of Warren and senior Mickey Perry has a combined 34 assists and 28 turnovers.

About the RedHawks

Mavunga has had three double-doubles in his last four games and is the Mid-American Conference East Division player of the week. He averages 7 rebounds. … Winbush is another Michael Bramos. The Shaker Heights native has made 19 of 34 threes, including 8 of 10 in a two-point loss at Kentucky. … Miami is shooting 40.8 percent from the arc. … They have 95 turnovers while forcing just 69.

FYI

The Flyers and RedHawks have a common foe in Towson (Md.), and neither team had one of its prouder moments in that game. UD rallied from an 18-point deficit for a 74-69 win Saturday, while Miami suffered an 82-71 loss on the road. Towson is picked to finish ninth in the 12-team Colonial Athletic Association.
