BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Torian Oglesby started a new consecutive field goals streak with two big baskets and Jordon Crawford added 16 points as Bowling Green defeated Ohio 67-57 Saturday night.
Oglesby, who set an NCAA record with 26 consecutive field goals in the last seven games for the Falcons (7-7, 1-0 Mid-American Conference) missed his first attempt of the night, a first-half layup try after he grabbed an offensive rebound.
He didn't shoot again until 1:42 remained in a game tied 56-56, when his dunk put Bowling Green ahead to stay. He added a layup for a 60-56 lead, and the Falcons added seven free throws down the stretch.
Dee Brown added 13 points, A'uston Calhoun 12 and Scott Thomas had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Bowling Green.
D.J. Cooper scored 15 points and Ivo Baltic 14 for Ohio (12-3, 0-1), which has lost two straight after winning nine in a row.
