MIAMI, Ohio — Jordon Crawford had 25 points, leading four Bowling Green players in double-figure scoring as the Falcons dropped Miami (Ohio) 65-57 on Wednesday night.
A'uston Calhoun added 13 points while Scott Thomas had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Falcons (8-9, 2-2 Mid-American Conference), who overcame a halftime deficit to clinch the win. Dee Brown also chipped in 10 points.
Trailing by four points at the break, the Falcons were behind just 40-38 with 13:12 to play. But Thomas knocked down a 3-pointer to put Bowling Green ahead, and started a 9-0 run and never looked back. The Falcons led the rest of the way, outscoring the RedHawks 41-29 in the second half to seal the victory.
Bowling Green outrebounded Miami 32-28 and forced 16 RedHawks' turnovers.
Julian Mavunga, the only player in double figures for Miami (5-11, 1-3), scored 17 points.
