TROY —
A Springfield man is facing rape charges after police said he raped three underage teenage girls.
James Mitchell Jr., 18, of Springfield, appeared in Miami County Municipal Court Wednesday morning. He faces three counts of rape and an alcohol violation, according to reports.
Police said the incident happened on New Years Eve at a home in Troy. Mitchell knew the victims, police said.
Mitchell’s bond was set at $160,000 cash, and he remains in jail.
