MIAMI VALLEY —

There is a flood watch for northwestern counties until 4pm this afternoon. Minor flooding has occurred in Mercer county, but more is possible. Some minor flooding is possible for Sunday and into Monday. Randolph county has a flood advisory until 3pm.

Sunday will be wet and gray. Rain totals from Saturday night ranged from over an inch in the far northwest, to around a couple tenths of an inch around Dayton and southeast. Steady rain will taper down through the rest of the morning and into midday, before another round of rain, heavy at times with some thunder, arrives in the evening . The amount of rain could be another 0.50”-0.75”. Temperatures expected in the 30s Sunday afternoon.

Rain should end, possibly as a little snow. Temperatures fall through the 30s. A wintry mix of snow and sleet is possible, especially in the far northwest where we will be colder quicker. Accumulations will not be significant, but look for slick conditions on roadways later Sunday night through Monday morning. Lows will fall into the low 20s . Breeze calms down overnight.

Monday will be quiet but colder. Rain will be east of the area by Monday morning. Icy spots will be possible through early Monday. Winds chills Monday morning will be in the teens. Highs in the low to mid 30s in the afternoon. Falling into the low 20s Monday night, refreezing water left on the ground is possible.

Tuesday through Friday, the rest of the work week will be quiet and seasonable with highs in the 30s and low in the 20s. Some sun and scattered clouds through much of the work days.
