CLARK COUNTY —
A man pleaded not guilty today to charges of assault and menacing after police said he beat up a woman known to him.
Christopher E. Sine was arrested Dec. 7 after police witnessed marks on the woman consistent with her report that he repeatedly punched and kicked her.
The fight began at a VFW on Lake Road earlier in the evening, according to an affidavit. The bartender on duty asked both to leave after they argued.
The victim said she lost consciousness twice while being beaten by Sine, according to the affidavit.
Sine was arrested and booked in the Clark County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.
