Doors will open at 10:15 a.m., and the president is expected to arrive at about noon, Clark County Democratic Party Chair Ron Rhine said Tuesday afternoon.

Obama’s campaign confirmed the schedule change saying, “As the President and his administration continue to closely monitor the impact of and response to the hurricane, any additional updates to the President’s campaign schedule will be announced as needed.”

The event had previously been scheduled for late Thursday.

The President canceled all Wednesday campaign events in Ohio to monitor the response to Hurricane Sandy.
