Local school district levies in November
- Clark-Shawnee Local Schools is seeking a 10-year, 7.49-mill renewal and increase that would not raise taxes above current levels. If approved, the issue would combine three separate renewals into one ballot issue. One of those renewal levies is a permanent improvement levy that would be collected as operating money in the future, but the district intends to earmark it for permanent improvements or expenses that last longer than five years.
- Northeastern Local Schools is seeking a 1-percent continuing earned income tax for operating expenses. If approved, it would cost $400 annually for every $40,000 of income.
- Tecumseh Local Schools is seeking an 8.95-mill, five-year levy for operating expenses. If approved, the levy would cost $274 a year for the owner of a $100,000 home.
- Urbana City Schools is seeking a 5.5-mill, five-year levy for operating expenses. If approved, the levy would cost $168 a year for the owner of a $100,000 home.
