DAYTON, Ohio —

Motorists around the Miami Valley saw gas prices rise about 30 cents on Wednesday morning.

As of 8 a.m. today, the highest price reported in the Miami Valley was at the BP in Germantown, according to DaytonGasPrices.com. Several stations in Englewood, Tipp City, Miamisburg, Moraine and in Dayton were selling gas at $3.49 a gallon, according to the website.

Other stations in Huber Heights and Kettering were still selling gas at $3.15 to $3.17 a gallon as of 8 a.m.

The average price for a gallon of gas in Dayton one month ago was $3.20, and one year ago, the average was $3.16.
