An Urbana High School student has been indicted by a Champaign County Grand Jury, accused of writing a threatening message on a restroom stall, forcing authorities to lock down the building.
Brianne N. Castle, 18, of Urbana, was indicted on a single count of inducing panic, a second degree felony, according to court records. She is scheduled to face an arraignment Feb. 19.
According to information from the Urbana Police Division, officers were approached by a high school student on Jan. 14 who told them about a threatening message on a women’s restroom stall door.
