Fund set up to assist Patrolman Blum

Staff Report

A fund has been set up to help German Twp. Patolman Jeremy Blum, who was shot in Saturday’s shootout at Enon Beach in Mad River Township.

Blum was listed in fair condition Tuesday morning at Miami Valley Hospital.

The fund is called “The Jeremy Blum Assistance Fund” and those wishing to contribute can do so at any Key Bank office.

“We don’t know what it is going to be for,” said German Twp. Police Chief William Dickerson. “He’ll be out of work for some time; how long we really don’t know. It’s to help him in any way he needs it.”
