SPRINGFIELD —
A newspaper delivery driver alerted police to a break-in at a Springfield gas station early Saturday morning.
Around 4:24 a.m., police responded to the Valero Food Mart on North Bechtle Street where the front door had been broken out, according to police records.
An employee, who said he had recently started working at the Valero, arrived on scene and said it appeared nothing was missing from the store. Because he was new, he said he did not have access to the surveillance video.
No arrests have been made due to lack of evidence.
