$5,000 offered in Bethel Twp. fire investigation

BETHEL TWP., Clark County —

A reward of $5,000 has been offered for information leading to the identification of those who started a fire in November that damaged a North Park Drive home.

Blue Ribbon Arson Reward signs were posted in Clark County Friday by the Division of State Fire Marshal and the Bethel twp. Fire Department.

The reward is being offered regarding the unsolved arson from Nov. 22, when a vacant ranch-style home at 217 North Park was set ablaze.

Two juveniles were seen running from the home just prior to the fire being reported, according to a news release.

“Arson is a senseless crime that could turn tragic if we don’t get the details of this incident,” State Fire Marshal Larry Flowers said in a statement.

To provide a tip, call the State Fire Marshal’s Fire & Explosion Investigation Bureau at (800) 589-2728.
