Tacoma police officer shot, killed: Latest updates

The man suspected of shooting and killing a veteran Tacoma, Washington, police officer Wednesday evening was shot and killed by authorities early Thursday after an hours-long standoff.

The officer was killed after responding to a domestic violence call in the 400 block of East 52nd Street.
