Nearly 200 people walk out of Amy Schumer act following Trump criticism

Amy Schumer’s Donald Trump jokes weren’t a hit with everyone a Tampa, Florida., audience, as about 200 people out of a crowd of 10,000 walked out of her show Sunday when she lambasted the Republican presidential candidate as an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.”

Schumer, who has been a huge proponent for gun control and an outspoken supporter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, veered into political territory about halfway into her set, which is when audience members began to boo.

At one point, Schumer called a Trump supporter on stage and questioned his voting motivations.

Schumer asked,“Do you get worried at all with how impulsive he is, that he gets so fired up from ‘Saturday Night Live’ doing a skit on him … do you worry he’ll be impulsive and get us in a lot of [expletive] trouble we can’t get out of?”

Schumer also addressed Trump’s notorious 2005 hot mic moment with former “Access Hollywood” anchor Billy Bush.

“You know what I love? A famous guy that will just take me furniture shopping and just straight up grab my [expletive]," she said during one point in the show.

As the booing intensified, Schumer asked security to remove some of the hecklers and told others that if they didn’t like her material, they were free to leave.

The Infingers were one couple who could’ve done without the comedienne’s political commentary.

“I don’t want to hear that. We wanted to have a good night without distractions with the politics,” Byron Infinger told the Tampa Bay Times.

His wife, Chrisy Infinger added, “It’s a bit much.”

“The show became political. I definitely didn’t come to hear this,” audience member Ryan Atwood said.
