“He really wasn’t saying much at all — a lot of yelling and screaming,” Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Sgt. Geoff Fox told the newspaper. “He wasn’t making sense. They couldn’t really communicate with him in terms of constructive conversation.”
Neither police nor the suspect seemed to know exactly how the injury occurred.
The man later told police he was in the area visiting friends and picked up hallucinogenic mushrooms.
He nearly bled to death from his injuries.
