Man charged for allegedly hitting pregnant girlfriend


A Springfield man appeared in court Wednesday morning on charges of domestic violence and endangering children after allegedly punching his pregnant girlfriend.

Jovah Bush, 27, faces charges of domestic violence, endangering children and vandalism. A warrant was issued for Bush’s arrest last month after police said he punched the victim, who he knew was pregnant, twice.

The victim had bruises on the face, and declined medical treatment, police said.
