WPAFB Tuesday forecast: Chilly to start the day, daytime temps to reach mid-40s

It will be a chilly start to the day under mostly clear skies and temperatures hovering near freezing, as breezy conditions will push wind chill readings into the lower or middle 20s.

Despite lots of sunshine during the afternoon, temperatures will only reach into the middle 40s for highs.

Clouds will be on the increase late in the day and for Halloween evening, but it will remain dry. Children will need to dress warmly under their costumes as temperatures will drop into the lower 40s by trick-or-treat time.

There will be the chance for a few passing snow showers early Wednesday morning before temperatures rebound enough for liquid precipitation late Wednesday.

Little to no snow accumulation is expected Wednesday. On-and-off rain showers will be possible Wednesday night through the rest of the week.
