Tim and Brandy Juday (pronounced “Joo-day”) lived in North Muskegon, Mich., at that time. They both worked in the retail industry and were looking for new career opportunities. Brandy’s family members live in Tipp City and told Tim and Brandy that this commercial property was for sale in a great location in New Carlisle. Soon afterward they purchased the site and they and their two children relocated here to start anew.

They kept the familiar Tom’s Deli & Carryout name attached to their new business until they recognized they had to change its name to signify a dining hall. They renamed their establishment 571 Grill & Draft House.

This year, the Ohio House of Representatives honored the 571 Grill & Draft House owners and its 20 dedicated staff members with a plaque of recognition for their outstanding business ethics.

Also, 571 Grill was featured in the national publication Travel Pulse as being (one of) “The six best places to grab a burger in the Midwest.”
