New shopping center proposed at long-vacant Springfield site

Sunny today, showers tonight


After a chilly start to the morning, temperatures will reach close to 60 degrees today, said News Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek.

Sunny skies are expected today, but there is a chance of a shower tonight and temperatures will fall to the low-40s, he said.

Thursday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, and highs near 70 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight, Wirdzek said.

Friday will start with showers, and then turn partly cloudy. Highs will reach near 70 degrees, he said.
