The Springfield Symphony Orchestra’s annual family-friendly fundraiser returns 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center.
Proceeds will go to the Symphony’s youth education programs.
“While we receive some grants and gifts from area businesses and individuals, our organization relies heavily on funds raised at Flavors to allow us to continue offering high-quality programs to the students of our community,” said Alek Peugh, the symphony’s director of operations and education.
Attendees will find a host of their favorites and new food discoveries from businesses based in Springfield, Urbana and Yellow Springs offering samples of what they do best.
Returning will be Los Mariachis, Mela of Courtyard Springfield Downtown, Coppertop, Rudy’s Smokehouse, Bada Bing! Pizzaria, Jimmy John’s, Springfield Country Club, Cecil and Lime Cafe, The Hickory Inn and Seasons Bistro and Grille.
Newcomers include It’s Your Party!, which offers personalized cakes, cupcakes and cookies, and Parkhurst Dining at Wittenberg.
You can also hear where your admission dollars are going as members of both the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and the Youth Symphony will perform live.
