After surviving an unusually mild November, December has arrived and living in Ohio we know the weather can change at the drop of a hat.
In 1950, Springfield was famously covered in around 1,663,872 tons of snow. A massive blizzard left hundreds stranded, and called a city-wide state of emergency for 6 days until the overwhelming snow became a mad river and flooded the city, causing a new list of issues! So the next time you walk down Main Street, give thanks for this season’s kinder temperament.
