According to Springfield dispatch, crews were called just before 9 p.m. to a report of shots fired.
No one was injured but a house was struck by gun fire, dispatch said.
One person ran on foot from police in the area but it is not clear if the person had anything to do with the shooting, according to dispatch.
No arrests have been made.
