Semitrailer full of food gets stuck in Trotwood, blocks Hoover Avenue


A semitrailer is blocking Hoover Avenue in Trotwood, between Olive and Little Richmond roads, after it became stuck off the roadway when the driver missed a turn.

Sandy's Towing is having to send two heavy wrecker trucks to move the fully-loaded semitrailer. The driver, who is from Utah, said he was driving the refrigerated trailer from Iowa. 

It is full of food, he said, headed for an area distributor. He was not injured. 

The incident was reported just before 6 p.m. 

There is no timetable for how long the roads will be closed.
