Rainy overnight leads to nicer Sunday

After showers passing through the area earlier tonight, temperatures will continue to drop into the 60s overnight after a cold front moves through the area.

Mostly cloudy and breezy with more showers and a possible thunderstorm arriving Saturday night. As the storm system crosses Indiana it is weaking, and Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said she believes this trend will continue and leave us with just a few showers, if anything, overnight.

Partly sunny to mostly cloudy through Sunday. Areas to the east may see some showers early before tapering off. Could see some more showers Sunday afternoon across our viewing area.

Monday, we’ll have sun and some scattered clouds, cooler in the lower 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday should stay dry with plenty of sunshine. Highs each day will be in the 70s.

Mostly cloudy breezy and warm on Thursday with possible showers and thunderstorms. Highs near 80. It is too early to confirm if these storms are expected to be severe or not.
