Roads may be slick this morning as the area is expected to get anywhere from a coating to an inch of snow overnight.
Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson said snow is generally expected to fall from 3 to 8 a.m.
"We are looking at a coating north, about a half-inch in Dayton and Springfield, and up to an inch across our southern counties," Simpson said.
Clouds will give way to a little sun in the afternoon with highs in the upper 20s.
Temperatures Wednesday will start in the upper single digits with wind chills below zero. Those temps will rise to the upper teens by afternoon with the wind chill remaining in the single digits.
There's a chance for light snow to return Thursday morning across northern Miami Valley.
The low temp Friday morning of 6 degrees is expected to rise to a high of 28.
