Crawford died that night, as did shopper Angela Williams, who tried to flee the store and had a cardiac arrest after she heard the officer’s gunshots.

The documentary, "Two Sides," aired Monday night on TVOne. It will re-air 1. a.m. Monday, Feb. 12.

The one-hour program is produced and narrated by Oscar winner Viola Davis. Dayton Daily News reporter Mark Gokavi was interviewed as part of the program.

The episode about Crawford, who lived in Fairfield, is one of four parts highlighting fatal police encounters between 2014 and 2015.
