Marathon executives to discuss financial results


Executives from Marathon Petroleum Corp., the parent company of Enon-based Speedway, will discuss its 2017 fourth quarter and full-year financial results in a conference call with investors on Thursday, Feb. 1, according to information from the company.

Marathon, based in Findlay, Ohio, is the nation’s second-largest refiner, with a crude oil refining capacity of approximately 1.9 million barrels per calendar day in its six-refinery system, according to information from the company.

Marathon is the parent company of Speedway LLC, which owns and operates the nation’s second-largest convenience store chain, with approximately 2,730 convenience stores in 21 states. Speedway’s headquarters is based in Enon.
