Man hurt in 2-car crash in Pike Twp.


A man was taken to the hospital from a crash in Pike Twp. Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at approximately 7:25 a.m. at Ohio 41 and New Carlisle-Saint Paris Pike, which is north of New Carlisle.

A white Chevy Malibu traveling east on New Carlisle-Saint Paris Pike was slow or stopped for an unknown reason when it was struck from behind by a Ford Focus, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The Malibu's male driver was hurt and taken to the hospital, according to the patrol.

The Focus driver, a 28-year-old female, was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
