An Urbana man involved in a Tuesday night Moorefield Twp. crash is in critical condition.

Isaiah Baskin, 32, was driving a 1999 Nissan Sentra southbound on Urbana Road when he hit a 2014 International Harvester semi-trailer carrying a box trailer, Sgt. Merrill Thompson with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Springfield Post said.

The semi was allegedly trying to make a left turn onto the road, Thompson said, and Baskin hit the trailer on the left side. The crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. just north of Willow Road, he said.

The driver of the semi was not injured, Thompson said.

Baskin was taken by CareFlight from the scene to Miami Valley Regional Hospital, according to Thompson. Officials at the hospital said Baskin was listed in critical condition Wednesday.
