Dozens gather in downtown Dayton to protest travel ban

Dozens of people have gathered in front of Congressman Mike Turner’s office in downtown Dayton to protest President Donald Trump’s executive order banning travel to the U.S. from seven Muslim countries.

This gathering — organized by German immigrant Frank Goetzke of Yellow Springs — is one of two protests planned today in downtown Dayton.

The second protest is slated to start at 4 p.m. in front of the federal court building.

EARLIER (Jan. 28) 

A Yellow Springs resident is organizing a local protest of President Donald Trump’s immigration order banning entry to the U.S. of passport holders from seven Muslim countries.
