List of schools dismissing early due to heat

The following schools will have early dismissal today, Sept. 11, due to excessive heat.

Ascension School -- 1 p.m. early dismissal

Benjamin Logan Local Schools -- 2 p.m. early dismissal

Bethel Local Schools -- 2 hours early

Brantwood Elementary in the Mad River Local Schools district -- 11:45 a.m. dismissal

Clark Shawnee Local Schools -- 1.5 hours early

Covington Exempted Village -- 2 hours early

Fairborn City Schools -- vary per building

Greenville City Schools -- 2 hours early

Northridge Local Schools -- 2 hours early

Preble Shawnee Local Schools -- 2 hours early

Southeastern Schools -- 2 hours early; No afternoon preschool

St. Helen Catholic School -- 12:30 p.m. dismissal

St. Luke School -- Closed for the day
