One of Miami Valley Hospital’s helicopters is now inside a heated hangar at the Moraine Air Park.

The helicopter is normally on top of Miami Valley Hospital’s helipad, but is relocated during extreme cold to keep it warm between flights. The Miami Valley has been experiencing freezing temperatures, according to Storm Center 7 meteorologists. It’s also moved during severe weather like hail or thunderstorms.
