Forecast shows warm temps, chance of rain

Residents in Piqua and Sidney reported seeing lightning and hearing thunder Monday night as a line of thunderstorms moved through the northern parts of the News Center 7 viewing area.

Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson said a few light showers will continue to linger in the far north overnight and a slim chance of showers will continue through Wednesday

Clouds will be more prominent than the sun over the next two days, but overnight lows will be in the upper 50s, with highs Tuesday in the low 70s and mid 70s Wednesday.

“The bulk of the rain will arrive by Thursday morning and linger through the day,” Simpson said.
