Temperatures will climb into the 50s in the first week of December, following a couple more chilly days.
Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson says skies will stay clear tonight but lows will be subfreezing, near 30 degrees.
Sunday we will see mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures as highs will be in the low-40s. Precipitation is also possible.
"Late in the day, a stray shower is possible," Simpson said. "By Monday morning it may be cold enough for a few areas of light, spotty, wet snow."
He says the areas north Route 36 have the best chance of snow on Monday.
Later in the week, we start to warm up a bit, according to Simpson.
Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid-40s with some sun. Wednesday will be warmer with highs near 50 degrees.
Thursday looks rainy but Simpson says, "We'll rise to the lower 50s."
