Community forum set for Medicaid plan


Champaign Residential Services Inc. will host a community forum to discuss Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s proposed Medicaid expansion plan from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at CRSI, 1150 Scioto St.

Greg Moody, state director of health transformation, will provide information about the proposal. Others who will attend the forum will include John McCarthy, Medicaid state director, John Martin, Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities director and John Hannah, president of Arc of Ohio.

Urbana Mayor Bill Bean and Susan Bailey Evans, director of the Champaign County Department of Jobs and Family Services, will also attend. Residents are asked to RSVP by Wednesday by calling (937) 653-1320 or sending an email to twyatt@crsi-oh.com. STAFF REPORT
