Clark County Fair schedule

The Clark County Fair starts today. Daily admission, excluding rides, costs $6 and children 6 and under are free. Daily parking costs $3 per vehicle. Ride tickets cost $1.25 each and an all-day ride wristband is $16. The schedule for today and Saturday:

Friday

9 a.m.-9 p.m.: Junior Fair Exhibits Set Up (Youth Building)

9 a.m.: Pee Wee & Adult Hog Showmanship (Swine Arena)

1 p.m.: Open Market Hog Show (Swine Arena)

1-5 p.m.: Open Class Rabbit Clark County Exhibitor Check-in (Rabbit Barn)

3-8 p.m.: Junior Fair Rabbit Check-in (Rabbit Barn); open exhibits brought to Arts & Crafts Building (through the back door only)

4-7 p.m.: open exhibits for photography brought to Arts & Crafts Building (through the back door only)

4-8 p.m.: open exhibits brought for hay (judging site: Youth Building); open exhibits brought for grains/vegetables/fruit (Annex) (through the back door only)

5-9 p.m.: Junior Fair FFA Non-Livestock entries to Youth Building

6 p.m.: Junior Fair Dog Poster & Project Book Awards (Dog Barn)

6-8 p.m.: Junior Fair Breeding, Fancy & Egg Production Chickens check-in/weigh-In (Poultry Barn); Junior Fair Breeding Turkeys, Ducks & Geese check-in/weigh-In (Barn 6); Junior Fair Market Turkey check-in/weigh-In (Barn 6); Junior Fair Market Rabbit weigh-in (Rabbit Barn)

6-9 p.m.: Junior Fair Meat Duck check-in/weigh-in (Barn 6); Junior Fair Dairy Feeder weigh-in (Cattle Show Arena)

6-10 p.m.: Open Class Rabbit Clark County Exhibitor check-in (Rabbit Barn)

6:30 p.m.: Junior Fair Dog Upper Level Obedience (Dog Barn)

7-9 p.m.: Junior Fair Market Beef weigh-in (Expo Center); Junior Fair Goat weigh-in (Sheep Arena)

7 p.m.: Truck-Tug-O-War (Grandstand Track Event); Top Shelf Band (Big Entertainment Tent)

8:30 p.m.: Slow Hand — Eric Clapton Tribute (Big Entertainment Tent)

9 p.m.: Junior Fair Market Beef & Cattle Producers arrival deadline (Expo Center); Junior Fair Dairy Feeders arrival deadline (Dairy Barns); Junior Fair Goats arrival deadline (Goat Barn)

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Open Class Arts & Crafts Building judging (building closed until 1 p.m.)

10 a.m.: Grand Opening Ceremonies; Junior Fair Dog Showmanship (Dog Barn); Junior Fair FFA Grain & Vegetable judging (Youth Building); Junior Fair Alpacas & Llamas Show & Showmanship (Expo Center)

11 a.m.: Junior Fair FFA Hay Show judging (Youth Building); Junior Fair Rabbit Show (Rabbit Barn) Following Showmanship

1-8 p.m.: Sales Trailer open (Across from the Goat Barn)

1 p.m.: Arts & Crafts Building open to the public
