Central State chorus sings at White House

The Central State University Chorus performed at the White House on Thursday afternoon during the Holiday Open House.

Twenty-five representatives from the student chorus of more than 100 members left Wilberforce this week to sing in the White House from noon to 2 p.m.

They performed various holiday selections under the direction of Jeremy Winston, said Gayle Colston Barge, CSU director of public relations.

At the invitation of Sen. Rob Portman, the chorus will perform in the U.S. Senate rotunda on Friday at 12 noon.
