Cedarville fire chief upgrades open burn warning

Fire officials in Cedarville have upgraded the village's burn status to yellow.
Under a yellow warning, village residents are urged to use caution when controlling an open burn. The fire chief changed it due to the extreme heat and lack of rain.
"Fire fuels can ignite and spread rapidly," states a warning on the Cedarville Township Volunteer Fire Department's website, www.ctvfd.org.
