Car runs through Springfield house

A resident is consoled by a friend after a car lost control and ran through her house, completely knocking off the corner of the structure Tuesday in the 500 block of North Bechtle Avenue in Springfield. There were no injuries to the residence but the driver of the car was transported to the hospital. The house suffered major structural damage. Bill Lackey/Staff
