Air show free for active duty service members

Active duty men and women of the armed forces will be admitted free to this year’s Vectren Dayton Air Show.

The free admission is an expression of “gratitude to all those who serve in our nation’s armed forces” and show officials say they are offering a “special welcome to Wright-Patterson AFB personnel.”

The 39th show presented by Kroger is June 22-23 at Dayton International Airport.

No military aircraft will be part of the show, according to a release.
