Furloughs start today


Furloughs begin Monday for more than 10-thousand civilian workers at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

The Department of Defense requires workers to take eleven days of unpaid leave, one day each week.

It adds up to a 20 percent pay cut for employees, during those weeks. The furloughs are in effect until September 21st.
