Springfield man appointed to PUCO

A Springfield man has been appointed to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Gov. John Kasich’s office announced Thursday.

Asim Haque’s term begins June 24 pending consent of the Ohio Senate, according to the governor’s office.

His term is expected to end in April 2016.

Haque, assistant counsel at Honda North America, Inc., received his law degree from Ohio State University in 2006.
