West Liberty-Salem students sing ‘Truly Brave’ after school shooting

The West Liberty-Salem High School choir posted a touching video Wednesday of the group singing “Truly Brave.”

The video was uploaded to YouTube during the students' second day back to school following a shooting on campus last Friday.

One student, Logan Cole, 16, was shot twice in the side and in the chest, deputies have said, and he's recovering at a Columbus hospital. Another student, Adam Schultz, was hit by a pellet but didn't require medical treatment.

School was closed Monday and students returned on Tuesday, when they watched a video that included a message from Cole.

West Liberty-Salem Superintendent Kraig Hissong previously said this is a time for healing in the district.
