Scholarships

Northeastern students receiving scholarships of $5,000 or more include:

Maggie Mae Ark, daughter of Scott and Jean Ark, will attend Miami University. She accepted a total of $5,000 in scholarships from Miami University, Mervin Britton Memorial Scholarship and Northeastern Local Education Association.

Taylor Rae Brown, daughter of Bonnie Brown and Shane Brown, will attend Xavier University. She accepted a total of $14,500 in scholarships from Xavier University, Northeastern High School FFA Booster Club and Union Club of Springfield.

Sydney Marie Fulton, daughter of Douglas and Pamela Fulton, will attend Capital University. She accepted a total of $16,900 in scholarships from Capital University, Nick Foss Memorial Nursing Scholarship and Union Club of Springfield.

Lauren Elise George, daughter of Martha and Randy George, will attend Shawnee State University. She accepted a total of $6,200 in scholarships from Shawnee State University and Northeastern High School Student Government.

Ashley Nicole Hamm, daughter of Greg and Tammy Hamm, will attend Morehead State University. She accepted a total of $9,000 in scholarships from Morehead State University and Union Club of Springfield.

Elizabeth LaRee Harmer, daughter of Craig and Jill Harmer, will attend Wright State University. She accepted a total of $5,400 in scholarships from Wright State University, Northeastern High School Student Government and Union Club of Springfield.

Dylan Michael Hooper, son of Janet and Terry Hooper, will attend Muskingum University. He accepted a total of $16,000 in scholarships from Muskingum University.

Sarah Ann Judy, daughter of Keith and Madonna Judy, will attend Wittenberg University. She accepted a total of $18,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.

Ashlen Jane Lockwood, daughter of Aaron and Ashli Lockwood, will attend Muskingum University. She accepted a total of $7,000 in scholarships from Muskingum University.

Shelby Lyn Maier, daughter of Mike and Cindy Maier, will attend Columbus College of Art and Design. She accepted a total of $10,000 in scholarships from Columbus College of Art and Design.

Cody Lawrence Parker, son of Kelly and Rick Parker. He accepted an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., valued at more than $80,000.

Lauren Jocelyn Perdue, daughter of Jocelyn Perdue, will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She accepted a total of $12,250 in scholarships from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and the Springfield Foundation.

Breanna Irene Rittenhouse, daughter of Jason and Joanna Rittenhouse, will attend Urbana University. She accepted a total of $20,896 in scholarships from Urbana University.

Michael Edward Schmid, son of John and Jane Schmid, will attend Muskingum University. He accepted a total of $6,500 in scholarships from Muskingum University, Union Club of Springfield and Northeastern High School FFA Booster Club.

MacKenzie Ann Shuey, daughter of Sam and Susan Shuey, will attend Wilmington College. She accepted a total of $13,750 in scholarships from Wilmington College, Northeastern FFA Booster Club, Ohio Cattlemen’s Association, Trupointe, Clark County Cattle Producers and Cady Reed Memorial Scholarship.

Megan Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Roger and Amy Smith, will attend University of Findlay. She accepted a total of $14,000 in scholarships from University of Findlay.

Erica Danielle Summerfield, daughter of Dan and Debbie Summerfield, will attend Oklahoma State University. She accepted a total of $17,250 in scholarships from Oklahoma State University, NEHS Ideal Steel FFA “Pink” Powder Puff Scholarship, Northeastern High School FFA Booster Club, Woeber Mustard/Moorefield Township Scholarship, Northeastern High School Boosters Club and Cady Reed Memorial Scholarship.

Bo Ryan Whip, son of Duane and Wendy Whip, will attend Wright State University. He accepted a total of $16,522 in scholarships from Wright State University, Springfield Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, SAE Engineering Scholarship, Kiwanis Foundation of Springfield, Northeastern Local Education Association and Northeastern High School Booster Club.

Andrew Tyler Williams, son of Ted and Tanya Williams, will attend Capital University. He accepted a total of $24,000 in scholarships from Capital University, International Harvester Credit Union, Northeastern High School Booster Club and Northeastern High School Student Government.
