Speak Ups for May 12 - Donald Trump is a sad excuse for a presidential candidate.

What are people going to do about gas prices? How are people on minimum wage going to make it?

If people would start car-pooling, using buses, riding bikes, it would force gas prices down.

Speedway sets prices for Springfield. They use us to see how far they can get away with driving prices up. Dayton’s been up to 15 cents cheaper lately. Take your corporate headquarters somewhere else. We’d rather see lower prices than the tax you’re probably not paying.

Thank you, voters in Northwestern School District, for telling the school board what they can do with their permanent tax levy!

I was happy to see President Obama witness the space launch, but unfortunately it was postponed due to technical problems. I understand he will not return to see the launch when it is rescheduled, since we have only one more, thanks to his vision of space exploration. But wait, I know how we can get him back in time to see the launch: Schedule a taping of the Oprah show at the launch site the same day.

Let’s see. The Republicans want us to forget about all the damage they’ve caused and believe they’ve changed now and really care about working-class Americans and trickle-down-economics will work this time if we just trust them and forget the past. I can’t believe them.

After watching the recent Fox News GOP presidential debate, I think the next one should be on the Cartoon Network. Especially if Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin and Donald Trump show up. Then again, Comedy Central could be a better choice.

Donald Trump got what he deserved. He has been running conspiracy theory lies out of his mouth for weeks. He sure got humiliated and put in his place.

Donald Trump is a sad excuse for a presidential candidate.

So Mr. Conservative, The Donald, runs around using the “F” word like we would use the words “please” and “thank you.” Franklin Graham, the straight and narrow conservative from the Christian right, sees good quality in this mess of a man. I say he is conservative in name only. Kinda like RINO.

I hope Donald Trump runs for president. I need a good laugh.

Why don’t you print comments against Democrats?

President Obama is the one acting silly. Why didn’t he produce the birth certificate in the beginning?

I wish Tea Party Republicans would quit trying to take health care away from us.
