Your home’s wish list probably includes some major projects. But if you don’t have the time, help or budget to tackle that wish list, try your hand at these suggested weekend projects to update your home

A glass or ceramic tile backsplash can brighten up your kitchen. Before starting the project certify that the wall is sound.

Let there be new light above your kitchen or dining room table with a new light fixture.

New kitchen cabinets will break your budget, but by changing the pulls on your drawers and cabinets, you can change the look of your entire kitchen without breaking the bank.

A new medicine cabinet above your bathroom sink can make getting ready in the morning a more organized event.

A new bathroom sink can turn your blah bathroom into a spa-like retreat.

Replacing your existing showerhead with a low-flow unit will save you money on your monthly water bill.

A new faucet that matches your existing sink can be a modern and practical update.

For a traditional update, install bead board in your kitchen or bathroom or both.

Installing a ceiling fan will get the air moving and reduce the use of air conditioning.

Crown molding is a nice detail that can finish off your great-room, living or dining rooms.
