Graham graduate in Toledo hospital after crowbar assault


A Graham High School graduate is in critical condition in a Toledo-area hospital after being assaulted with a crowbar.

The Norwalk Reflector is reporting that Austin Thornton, 19, was taken by a medical helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent in Toldeo with severe head trauma and blunt trauma to his torso. Emergency crews responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Ohio 99 in Willard.

Two people have been arrested and are being charged with the crime. Of the suspects is accused of htting Thornton in the head with the crowbar, according to the Norwalk Reflector.

Thornton is a 2012 graduate of Graham High School, where he played soccer and football.
