Scoby, 53, is a counselor for Springfield City Schools, owns Sports Ambassadors Radio and has been a teacher and a coach in several sports.

He said he was honored to receive a third term in office. He believe his eight years of experience and his record helped him win.

“I feel very blessed. ... I want to help preserve our township government and the rights of local citizens to govern themselves,” he said.

Wells, 66, has been an optometrist for about 40 years.

He said his 33 years of residency in Springfield Twp. likely helped his campaign.

“We’re certainly overjoyed,” Wells said. “We’re just committed to serve the people and do the best job we can.”

Smith, 67, owns Ray and Smith Appraisal and previously worked as president of M&M Federal Savings and Loan.

Barnes, 44, owns Barnes Rocks and Resources, a landscape and building stone business.
