CHAMPAIGN COUNTY — A woman injured in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 68 in Champaign County was listed in fair condition Thursday, Nov. 20.

Patsy Sanderson, 37, of Urbana, was flown by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to a news release from the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19.

The driver, the woman’s son, was traveling northbound on U.S. 68 near Hickory Grove Road, south of Urbana, when the car went off the road and crashed into a group of trees.

The Champaign County sheriff’s office is investigating the crash. U.S. 68 was closed briefly during the investigation but is now reopened.
